We at Partner's Western Riding would like to give you a brief overview of what activities and facilities we provide for your child's birthday party.
At the start of our party, we like to do a small "Warm up" with the children. This includes, feeding the horses treats, brushing their hair, showing the children how to saddle a horse, and teaching them how to turn, stop, and go. For some kids, this will be their first time around horses and they may feel very nervous. Doing this "Warm up" will help them relax and enjoy their visit.
Now that the children have warmed up, we go into the arena where we have an obstacle course setup. The kids get to take turns riding through the obstacle course. All of this takes about an hour.
After the children are done riding, we leave our picnic tables and bleachers available to you for a half an hour for any additional activities. Many parents find this to be a good time to open birthday presents, eat cake, and/or play games. At the conclusion of these birthday festivities, we will then present the birthday child with his/her own cowboy hat.
